How registration works
Simple, transparent,
no surprises.
Registration is straightforward. A $595 initial payment confirms your spot, the balance is automatically charged 120 days before the event, and we’ll send a reminder before processing it.
If plans change, here’s how it works.
Your $595 initial payment reserves your place and is applied toward your total. Refunds are subject to a 5% processing fee.
Transfers. If you can’t attend, you may transfer your registration to another person with our written approval. Please contact us before making transfer arrangements.
Participation waiver
All participants are required to complete a waiver before arriving.
MPS requires all registered attendees to sign a standard liability and participation waiver prior to the event. The waiver covers participation in field workshops, outdoor activities, and the symposium generally.
The waiver will be sent digitally with your confirmation package, approximately 6 weeks before the symposium. It must be completed before arrival. If you have questions about the waiver content, email us before registering.
From past attendees
What photographers say.
“I’ve attended a lot of photography events. MPS is genuinely different. The conversations over those four days changed how I think about my own work in ways I’m still discovering.”
“The field workshop was nothing like I expected — slower, more open, more honest. Our group ended up sitting and talking as much as we photographed. That felt exactly right.”
“I came looking for technical improvement. I left with something more valuable — a clearer sense of what I actually want to say with a camera. That’s rare.”
